Fitness Classes and Timetable

At The Green Isle Hotel

We now offer an exciting timetable of classes to add to your workout and fitness regime here at the Green Isle Hotel. Our classes add variety to your fitness programme and provide a social, interactive and fun workout. All fitness levels and age groups can workout together. Join in regular aerobics and fitness classes and be guided through your personal gym routine following a personal fitness assessment for members.

See a list of our fitness classes below. Classes cost €5 for non-members. Booking is essential at least 2 days prior to each class.

Aqua Aerobics

Aqua Aerobics is a performance of aerobic exercise in shallow water, designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance.

No Limits – Boot Camp

An intense boot camp style class incorporating high and low intensity perfect for intermediate to advanced fitness levels. Prepare to sweat and push yourself to the next level!

Spinning

Jump on one of our bikes and start peddling! These classes provide an intense cardio workout while still catering to participants of all fitness levels. Our certified instructors will lead you through a challenging series of courses to maximize your caloric burn. The best part is that you control your own resistance and speed allowing you to continuously progress forward from your current fitness level.

Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio Kickboxing is a mix of dance and martial arts set to fun and exciting music. A cardio workout that engages almost every muscle in your body, there is little to no experience required as we add different combinations each class, ultimately mastering a new round every two months. Before you know it, you’ll be kicking your way through each round from start to finish!

Body Conditioning

This type of exercise combines body weight and resistance training in order to lose weight as well as toning up. It requires strength and cardio segments using equipment such as dumbbells, body bars, tubes and so on. 

Kettlebells

Most exercises involve swinging a Kettlebell (round cast-iron weights with handles) in different directions, alternating the left and the right hands, to work the upper body and core while doing lower-body moves like lunges and squats. If you want a full-body workout without spending a lot of time, this is perfect. These workouts can be challenging but the new shape you will achieve will make them worth the effort.

TRX

The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise. TRX delivers a fast, effective total-body workout that combines cardio and strength training to improve posture.
